Anambra State to launch DocTracker for infrastructure monitoring

The Anambra State Government is preparing to launch DocTracker, a digital platform designed to monitor public infrastructure projects from the contract award stage through to completion and maintenance.

Developed by the Anambra State ICT Agency, the system aims to enhance transparency and accountability in government spending. The platform will integrate project tracking, contractor management, and maintenance monitoring, creating a centralized hub for government officials, contractors, and residents.

Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure Okey Ezeobi emphasized that because state-funded projects are public assets, residents have a responsibility to protect them. The platform will allow road users and citizens to provide direct feedback on project progress and the condition of assets, facilitating greater public scrutiny of procurement processes and project delivery.
