Anand Dubey joins Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction

Anand Dubey, the former national spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), has officially joined the Shiv Sena faction led by Eknath Shinde. The transition took place in Mumbai during a ceremony where Dubey accepted the party's saffron flag in the presence of Shinde.

Dubey stated that his decision was driven by a desire to return to the original ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray, claiming he felt uncomfortable with the direction of the UBT faction, specifically regarding its associations with the Congress and CJP. He described the move as ‘returning home’.

Several supporters and members of the Shiv Sena (UBT) Yuva Sena also joined the Shinde faction alongside Dubey, including Gulabchand Dubey, Sunil Chaubey, and several others. Shinde welcomed the new members, noting that their arrival would strengthen the party organization.
