Police in Ananindeua, Pará, are investigating the murder of 24-year-old Leonardo Gabriel Oliveira Cardoso. His body was discovered in a remote wooded area within the Terra Prometida community in the Curuçambá neighborhood.

Forensic analysis revealed the victim suffered more than 30 gunshot wounds, 15 of which struck his face. Investigators are considering whether the victim was transported to the location specifically for execution. Authorities are also looking into whether the killing is linked to a ‘tribunal do crime’, a practice where criminal groups carry out executions following clandestine trials.

Civil and Military police teams have been working at the scene, though investigators noted difficulties in gathering information due to a lack of cooperation from local residents. The body has been sent to the Pará Scientific Police for further examination.
