Ananindeua reports low growth in Pará public education rankings
Ananindeua has been identified as having one of the poorest rates of growth in public education within the state of Pará. According to data from the Basic Education Development Index (Ideb) provided by the Ministry of Education, the municipality ranks 133rd for the early years of schooling and 126th for the final years among 144 municipalities in the state.
The findings indicate that the municipal school network has lost momentum in recent measurements, falling behind several interior municipalities that achieved higher growth. This decline contrasts with previous administrative claims of progress, highlighting challenges in learning recovery, pedagogical structure, and the overall capacity of the municipal education management to improve indicators over time.
