Actor Ananya Panday performed an eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan at her residence. To minimize environmental impact, the actor immersed the Ganesh idol in a drum filled with water rather than using a natural water body.

Panday shared glimpses of the ceremony on social media while wearing a yellow suit. She included the Marathi phrase “Pudhachya Varshi Lavkar Ya,” which translates to “Come back soon next year,” to bid farewell to the deity. This method of home immersion reflects a growing trend of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with environmental consciousness to protect lakes, rivers, and seas.
