ANAPO calls for formal decree to guarantee agricultural exports

The National Association of Oilseed and Wheat Producers (ANAPO) is calling on the Bolivian government to establish a formal regulation or decree that guarantees the full liberation of agricultural exports. While the association acknowledged recent administrative improvements—notably the authorization of 800,000 tons of soybean exports—they argue that administrative tweaks are insufficient.

Jaime Hernández, General Manager of ANAPO, emphasized that producers require legal certainty and security to commercialize their harvests effectively. The current lack of a permanent rule creates uncertainty regarding prices and limits marketing alternatives. The association noted that clear regulations are essential to prevent disincentivizing buyers and to provide the predictability necessary for producers during harvest seasons.
