Anas announces 2 million euro road maintenance for Canicattì

Anas and regional deputy Luigi Salvaggio met in Palermo to discuss planned infrastructure interventions in the Canicattì area of Agrigento. The discussions focused on two major projects totaling approximately 2 million euros aimed at improving road safety and functionality in Sicily.

The first project involves scheduled maintenance on State Road 122 (SS 122) at km 26+850. This intervention, costing roughly 1,000,860 euros, will focus on restoring the roadbed through consolidation works and hydraulic regulation.

The second project concerns extraordinary maintenance for the overpass located on the SS 122 Ter (Canicattì East Bypass) at km 3+280. While 1 million euros has been allocated for this structural renovation, work is currently pending the relocation of Enel and FiberCop underground services that interfere with the site. Once these preliminary activities are completed, construction can begin.
