ANAS assumes management of 344 km of roads in Belluno

ANAS has officially assumed management of approximately 344 kilometers of roads in the Belluno province, transferred from the Veneto Region and the Province of Belluno. This transition, effective as of October 19, 2026, more than doubles the length of roads managed by ANAS in the Belluno area, increasing from roughly 220 to 524 kilometers.

As a result of this reorganization, the total ANAS road network in the Veneto region has grown from approximately 1,022 to 1,325 kilometers. Conversely, about 41.5 kilometers of road previously managed by ANAS will be transferred to the Veneto Region through Veneto Strade.

The restructuring implements a 2019 decree regarding the reorganization of national and regional road networks. Key routes now under ANAS management include the SS 48 ‘delle Dolomiti’ (84 km), the SS 203 ‘Agordina’ (64 km), the SS 251 ‘della Val di Zoldo e Val Cellina’ (50 km), and the SS 347 ‘del Passo Cereda e del Passo Duran’ (61 km).
