Anastasia Jamali discusses personal life and journalism challenges

Greek journalist and presenter Anastasia Jamali shared insights regarding her personal life and professional career in a recent interview with Hello magazine. Regarding marriage, Jamali remarked, “If happiness were hidden in the lace of a wedding dress, we would all be walking around in one every day,” suggesting that personal fulfillment involves much more than marital status.

She noted that she is content with her life and the support of her chosen circle of people. Jamali previously stated that she does not define herself through a partner or parenthood, though she acknowledged having a partner.

On a professional level, Jamali addressed the difficulties faced by women in journalism, noting that female journalists often face more scrutiny and sexist stereotypes than their male colleagues. She also discussed the demanding nature of the industry, describing television ratings as a marathon and noting the personal sacrifices required by her work in both television and radio.
