Anastasios Delimbaltadas resigns from Hellenic Basketball Federation Board

Anastasios Delimbaltadas, an independent member of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK) Board of Directors, has announced his decision to step away from his role. In a lengthy statement shared via social media, Delimbaltadas expressed his dissatisfaction with the current direction of the federation.

He stated that he does not believe in a federation that operates with “aggressiveness,” arguing instead that the organization should be an “open embrace for all.” Delimbaltadas noted that while his previous term allowed him to contribute to significant reforms—such as the creation of the Elite League and changes to the Greek Cup—his current term has lacked the necessary responsibilities or opportunities for meaningful intervention to utilize his experience and knowledge.
