Anawa explorer yacht docks in Calura Bay, Italy

On 24 July 2026 the 62‑metre Anawa explorer yacht anchored in the Calura Bay of Cefalù, Italy. Built by Damen Yachting in 2020 as the first SeaXplorer 62, the vessel can travel up to 6 000 nautical miles and operate for 30 days without resupply. It features hybrid electric propulsion, a helicopter hangar, a submersible, and extensive luxury accommodations for up to 12 guests and a crew of 16‑20. Its arrival was noted by former Cefalù mayor Pippo Guercio, who tracks high‑profile yachts such as Sergey Brin’s Dragonfly and the Turkish super‑yacht Camila.

Meanwhile the French Catena Group launched the Bali 7.0, a 22.53‑metre luxury catamaran designed by Xavier Faÿ and Philippe Briand. The vessel emphasizes open‑plan living, with panoramic glass sections that merge the salon, aft deck and fore terrace into a loft‑like space, plus a flybridge lounge. It carries 280 sqm of sail area, large water (1 520 L) and fuel (2 000 L) tanks, and a lithium‑battery and solar‑panel system that support long‑duration cruising without frequent refueling.
