Anay Beltrán Reyes, Morena federal deputy, has died

Anay Beltrán Reyes, a federal deputy for the Morena party representing District 8 of Tultitlán, State of Mexico, has passed away at the age of 44 or 45. The news was confirmed on Thursday, September 17, by her political party and fellow legislators.

While the official cause of death has not been released, Deputy Dolores Padierna noted that the legislator had been facing an illness for several weeks.

Political figures, including Morena coordinator Ricardo Monreal and the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez, issued condolences praising her commitment to her community and her work within the movement. Beltrán Reyes held various local leadership roles in Tultitlán prior to her election to the LXVI Legislature.
