Aníbal Mosa and César Villegas form club alliance for ANFP elections

Aníbal Mosa, president of Colo Colo, and César Villegas, leader of Deportes Limache and San Luis de Quillota, have formed a new alliance ahead of the ANFP elections scheduled for November 19. The group, which reportedly includes 10 clubs, has announced they will vote as a block to ensure transparency and clarity in the election process.

The decision follows recent developments involving FIFA representatives in Chile and discussions regarding the future separation of the ANFP and the Chilean Football Federation (FFCh). While the alliance intends to vote collectively, they have not publicly named a specific candidate for the presidency. The upcoming elections will see Jorge Uauy and Jorge Yunge competing for the position, while Pablo Milad is set to remain at the head of the FFCh until February 2027.
