Aníbal Tortoriello announces 2027 gubernatorial bid in Río Negro

National Deputy Aníbal Tortoriello has announced his intention to run for governor of Río Negro in 2027 representing the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party. Tortoriello, a former member of the PRO party who recently joined the LLA bloc, stated that he is certain his figure will lead the party's list for the governorship.

In response to the announcement, Damián Torres, the LLA proxy and vice president in Río Negro, clarified that while Tortoriello is one of the possible candidates, no specific definition has been made. Torres emphasized that candidate selection will follow the electoral calendar and national strategy, noting that the party's primary priority is the reelection of President Javier Milei.
