Anbao breaks ground on Tainan factory to meet AI and semiconductor power demand

Anbao has broken ground on its second factory in Yongkang, Tainan, to meet rising electricity demands from semiconductor expansions and AI data centers. The new facility, covering approximately 1,000 pings, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027. It will focus on producing energy storage battery cabinets, with an estimated annual capacity exceeding 3,000 units, alongside self-developed control systems and prefabricated components.

The company reported cumulative revenue of 4.472 billion TWD for the first eight months of this year, a 21.6% year-on-year increase. Anbao currently holds orders totaling nearly 17 billion TWD, with domestic projects accounting for 55% and overseas markets—primarily the United States and Germany—making up 45%.

Chairman Chen Zhi-fu stated that the company is transitioning from a simple equipment supplier to a comprehensive system integrator capable of manufacturing, engineering, and electromechanical turnkey services. To improve efficiency and mitigate labor shortages, Anbao is adopting a ‘Taiwan manufacturing, global assembly’ model. This involves using standardized, modular designs and prefabricated equipment to move construction processes from the field to the factory, thereby reducing onsite risks and accelerating international project delivery.
