Ancares Cycling Marathon sees record participation in O Cebreiro

The sixth edition of the Ancares Cycling Marathon concluded in O Cebreiro with a record-breaking 624 participants.

In the main Gran Fondo event, which covered 125.12 kilometers with 3,218 meters of elevation gain, David Mayo secured his third victory with a time of 3 hours, 58 minutes, and 10 seconds. Tamara Seijas won the women's category, finishing in 4 hours, 26 minutes, and 46 seconds.

The Medio Fondo distance, consisting of 86.08 kilometers and 1,928 meters of elevation, was won by Jesús Rodríguez in the men's category and Patricia Pérez in the women's category. The 2026 edition featured a new route segment including the Mirador de Ancares.
