Anci Sicilia launches youth listening network across 51 municipalities

Anci Sicilia has launched a new network of monthly listening offices dedicated to young people across Sicily. The initiative, promoted by the association's Youth Policy Commission, aims to establish a direct channel of communication between local administrations and the younger generation.

Under the program, participating municipal administrators, youth policy delegates, and youth council representatives will hold at least one fixed meeting per month. These sessions, which can also be accessed by appointment, are designed to allow young citizens to present specific needs, proposals, and projects directly to local officials. The goal is to move beyond identifying problems toward co-designing initiatives that can be implemented within the community.

Fifty-one municipalities have joined the initial phase of the project. The program is entering a six-month experimental period. A complete list of participating municipalities, including specific meeting dates and times, will be published on the Anci Sicilia website in the coming weeks.
