Ancient Theatre of Mieza hosts musical events under the full moon

The Ancient Theatre of Mieza hosted two distinct musical evenings on August 28 and 29, 2026, as part of the Ministry of Culture’s Full Moon celebrations.

On Friday, the local ensemble ‘Trio Evychon’—comprising Panagiotis Papadopoulos, Stergios Parizas, and Elisavet Pasiali—performed a program dedicated to contemporary Greek art and folk music.

On Saturday, the event shifted to a tribute to Spanish music. Mezzo-soprano Sandra Piperidou and guitarist Sarantis Agianoglou presented a recital featuring works by Federico García Lorca, Manuel de Falla, and Joaquín Rodrigo. The free admission events were attended by local officials, including the Mayor of Naoussa, Nikos Koutsogiannis, and various citizens.
