Ancona celebrates five prominent women of Italian entertainment

The city of Ancona is launching a cultural series titled ‘Stelle di Marca. Cinque storie oltre i confini’ (Brand Stars: Five stories beyond borders). Running from September 21 to December 21 at the Ridotto del Teatro delle Muse, the event honors five prominent women from Ancona who achieved national and international success in television, cinema, and theater.

The featured women are Rosanna Vaudetti, Ave Ninchi, Silvana Blasi, Virna Lisi, and Lucia Mascino. The program aims to explore their professional careers and personal lives through archival materials, photographs, and film footage, while also contextualizing their journeys within the historical development of the city.

Curated by Professor Antonio Luccarini, the sessions will feature actress Fiorella Ceccacci Rubino, who will perform segments representing the lives of the subjects. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Pensiero Plurale ETS in collaboration with the Ancona Municipality’s Equal Opportunities Department.
