Ancona International Airport to resume Munich flights in 2027
Ancona International Airport has announced that flights between Ancona and Munich will resume on March 28, 2027. The route will be operated by Air Dolomiti, a Lufthansa Group airline, and will run six days a week.
The restoration of this connection to a major European hub is intended to strengthen the international connectivity of the Marche region. The route is expected to support the regional export-oriented production system by providing more efficient links to foreign markets, partners, and clients. Additionally, the service aims to boost tourism and increase accessibility for international investors and visitors.
Market interest in the route is supported by 2025 traffic data, which showed approximately 62,000 passengers utilized the Munich-Ancona-Munich connection.
