Ancona launches Mosaic urban regeneration project for music and innovation

The city of Ancona has launched Mosaic, an urban regeneration project designed to foster innovation and professional opportunities for young people. The initiative has transformed a previously unused 500-square-meter public building on via Flavia 2 into a hub for music, digital production, training, and cultural design.

Funded by a 350,000 euro grant obtained by the Municipality of Ancona through a national call promoted by Anci and the Department for Youth Policies, the center aims to support individuals aged 18 to 35. The facility includes rehearsal rooms and spaces dedicated to music technology and entrepreneurship. Management of the site has been entrusted to Piattaforma Aps for a five-year term.

The Mosaic project, an acronym for ‘Musica, Orientamento, Sostegno, Aggregazione per Iniziative Comuni’, aligns with the philosophy of StartAN, Ancona’s startup fair. The center's full configuration is scheduled to be inaugurated on September 18, coinciding with the third edition of StartAN.
