Ancona Police Chief Issues Expulsion Orders in Senigallia
The Questore of Ancona, Capocasa, issued five mandatory expulsion orders (foglio di via) against individuals who had stayed in accommodation facilities in the coastal town of Senigallia without paying.
The orders require the persons to leave Senigallia and prohibit their return for a period of one to three years; breaching the measure can lead to six to eighteen months in prison and a fine up to €10,000. Police noted the subjects were non‑residents and had no legitimate reason to be in the municipality.
The measure is part of a broader enforcement effort, with 109 such expulsion orders issued by the Questore since 1 January 2026.
