Ancona police repatriate Tunisian national following expulsion order
The State Police in Ancona have repatriated a 40-year-old Tunisian citizen following a judicial expulsion order. The individual was described by authorities as socially dangerous due to a criminal history involving theft, resistance, and insulting public officials.
At the time of the operation, the man was under house arrest for drug trafficking. Following the notification of his expulsion and the archiving of his residence permit application, he was transported to Rome Fiumicino Airport and flown to Tunis.
Questore Capocasa stated that removing irregular and dangerous foreign citizens helps prevent further crimes and maintain public order. This marks the 42nd repatriation carried out by the Ancona Questura since January 1, 2026.
