Ancona port announces 2027 cruise season starting in January

The Port Authority of the Central Adriatic Sea has announced that the 2027 cruise season will begin in January, one month earlier than the previous year. Following participation in the Seatrade Cruise Med international fair, the authority confirmed that the port of Ancona is scheduled for 49 cruise ship calls during the upcoming season.

Viking Cruise Lines will lead the season's debut with the Viking Neptune arriving on January 13 and the Viking Star on February 8. MSC Cruises will maintain a strong presence, with the Msc Lirica scheduled for 28 calls starting April 16. The vessel is expected to operate weekly Friday routes between Mykonos and Venice.

Other participating companies include Marella Cruises, which will bring two ships for a total of 10 calls, and Ponant, which will conduct luxury cruises with Le Boreal. The schedule also features Oceania, Azamara, Ambassador Cruise Line, Windstar Cruises, and Fred Olsen.
