Ancona reports two separate assaults, one after a reckless overtaking and another in Piazza del Crocifisso, both victims

On the evening of 24 July in Ancona, a dispute over a risky overtaking maneuver near the Piano area escalated when a driver exited his vehicle to confront the other motorist. The confrontation turned violent, resulting in the injured driver being taken to hospital in a green code ambulance. Police arrived after a 112 call and recorded two conflicting accounts of the incident.

Later that night, around 22:45, police responded to an aggression in Piazza del Crocifisso. A 45‑year‑old man was attacked, received first‑aid on site, and was transported to Torrette hospital for further treatment. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and have urged the victim to file a complaint as the investigation continues.
