Ancona to host Operazione Nostalgia football event

The ‘Operazione Nostalgia’ football event is scheduled to take place at the Stadio Del Conero in Ancona on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The event will feature numerous former Serie A stars, including Gigi Buffon, Luca Toni, Antonio Di Natale, Alessandro Costacurta, Dida, Maurizio Ganz, Aldair, and Ancona captain Massimo Gadda.

In addition to the match, the event serves a charitable purpose. During warm-ups, players will wear special commemorative jerseys honoring the late Franco Baresi and Igor Protti. These jerseys, signed by the players, will be auctioned via the Memorabilia platform to raise funds for the Fondazione Ospedale Salesi ETS. The proceeds are designated for the purchase of a neuronavigator to support pediatric oncological neurosurgery at the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria delle Marche.

An outdoor Fan Village featuring music and entertainment will open at 10:30 AM, with stadium gates opening at 6:00 PM and the match scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available through TicketOne starting at 9 euros.
