ANCPI plans to relaunch Romania's e-Terra cadastral system after technical fixes

The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI) announced that the e‑Terra cadastral application will be reopened only after remaining technical issues are corrected and validated.

Independent testing carried out by the Special Telecommunications Service (STS), the National Cybersecurity Directorate (DNSC) and Cyberint has completed another evaluation round. A limited set of technical aspects still need fixing; each correction will undergo a new testing cycle in a controlled environment.

ANCPI and the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration have been meeting with notaries and cadastral experts to design the procedure for resuming operations. The system will be put back online once all tests and validations are successfully completed.

The government said a public update on the remediation status will be issued no later than Friday, 7 August 2026.
