and° and Denchu partner to bring AI tools to office desks

Tokyo-based and° and Osaka-based Denchu Co., Ltd. have entered into a business alliance to bring AI solutions directly to office environments. Starting in November, Denchu sales representatives will visit clients to demonstrate “AI Den-chan,” an AI tool developed by and°.

The initial rollout focuses on a “FAX agent” function, where the AI reads incoming FAX order forms and generates drafts of product names and quantities for human verification. To facilitate engagement, magnetic stickers with QR codes will be placed on multifunction printers, allowing customers to request free 30-minute AI diagnostic sessions.

Beyond FAX processing, the “AI Den-chan” suite includes features for document scanning, network monitoring, transcription of telephone calls, and a company-specific AI that masks sensitive information. Denchu will first implement the technology within its own offices to refine the user experience before the wider rollout.
