And Hope Remains wins Silver Award at Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards

The Emirati humanitarian documentary ‘And Hope Remains’ has won a Silver Award in the Digital Documentaries category at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2026. Produced by the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council of the United Arab Emirates, the film was recognized during the awards ceremony held on September 23-24 in Cannes, France.

The documentary focuses on human narratives of resilience, showcasing how communities endure and rebuild following wars, crises, and natural disasters. Rather than focusing solely on the scale of crises, the film highlights solidarity, assistance, and reconstruction efforts. Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Chairman of the Media Committee of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, accepted the award on behalf of the institution.

‘And Hope Remains’ originally premiered in October 2025 at the 8th El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt, where it received positive reception from audiences and industry professionals.
