ANDA to host 13th International Brazil Congress on fertilizer innovation

The National Association for Fertilizer Diffusion (ANDA) has announced its 13th International Brazil Congress, scheduled for August 25, 2026, in São Paulo. The event, themed ‘The future of fertilizers: innovation for more efficient agriculture’, aims to bring together industry leaders to discuss strategic issues facing the sector.

The congress will feature four thematic panels. Topics include the geopolitics of fertilizers and how Brazil can reduce vulnerabilities, the economic relationship between agribusiness and global supply-demand imbalances, and the potential for reindustrialization and decarbonization. Additionally, the event will address the sector's agenda for future government policies to increase Brazilian competitiveness.

Key participants include representatives from major companies such as Yara and Mosaic Fertilizantes, alongside academic and diplomatic experts. The program also includes the ‘Nutrients for Life’ initiative, focusing on food security and sustainability, and the presentation of the Carlos Florence Prize for scientific excellence.
