Andalucía international airport passengers exceed 1.5 million in August

Andalucía recorded over 1.5 million international passengers in August, marking a 12.3% increase compared to the previous year, according to data from Turespaña. This growth brings the region's total international tourist arrivals to more than 10.3 million since January, an 8.9% rise over the first eight months of 2025.

Across Spain, international air passengers reached 12.3 million in August, a 5.5% increase from the same month last year. European travelers accounted for 85.7% of this total. While passenger numbers from the United Kingdom and Italy grew, there were decreases in travelers from Germany and France. Other notable increases in market diversification included arrivals from China, Japan, Canada, and Brazil.
