Andalusia announces infrastructure investments in Granada and Albuñol

The Junta de Andalucía has allocated approximately 300,000 euros to renovate the IES La Contraviesa de Albuñol secondary school. The summer project aims to modernize facilities, including a complete remodeling of restroom facilities and the conversion of former locker rooms and showers into new teaching classrooms. Additionally, the school will receive a new sports floor for the gymnasium and the repurposing of a former caretaker's residence into a storage area.

In Granada, the City Council and the Provincial Council have signed a collaboration agreement to remodel access points via Avenida de la Ciencia. Part of the 2024-2027 Works Plan, the project includes the construction of two new roundabouts to improve mobility and connectivity between the provincial road network and the city. The Provincial Council will contribute 174,507.08 euros toward the construction of a roundabout at the connection of the GR-3303 with Juncos and Avenida de la Ciencia, with the total tender budget for the intersection improvements set at approximately 358,939 euros.
