The Regional Government of Andalusia has presented its 2027 budget proposals, highlighting significant investments in digital infrastructure and housing. The Department of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Development, and Public Administration will mobilize 242.1 million euros to advance digital transformation. This includes 11 million euros for high-performance computing infrastructure to develop sovereign AI capabilities.

In the housing sector, the Department of Housing, Youth, and Territorial Planning will see its budget increase by 22 percent to 954.6 million euros. This funding aims to boost affordable housing supply, facilitate market access for young people, and promote property rehabilitation. The regional government intends to allocate 196 million euros to increase affordable housing through public-private collaborations and direct subsidies.

Additionally, the regional government has opened a public consultation period regarding the regulations for the Andalusian Housing Law to ensure the new rules effectively address citizen needs and simplify administrative procedures.
