Andalusia approves Second Cybersecurity Strategy for 2027-2030
The Government of Andalusia has approved the formulation of the Second Andalusian Cybersecurity Strategy for the 2027-2030 period. This planning instrument aims to strengthen public policy capabilities regarding the prevention, detection, and response to increasingly sophisticated digital threats.
The new strategy is designed to adapt to the evolving technological landscape, specifically addressing emerging risks posed by artificial intelligence and quantum computing. It seeks to protect critical infrastructure, public information systems, and strategic sectors within the region to ensure the resilience of essential services.
This initiative follows the 2022-2025 strategy, which saw the consolidation of the Andalusia Cybersecurity Center (CIAN) and the strengthening of the regional Security Operations Center (SOC). In 2025, the SOC managed 13,539 cybersecurity incidents, extending advanced protection to approximately 145,700 corporate devices.
