Andalusia begins distribution of 2026 CAP subsidies

The Andalusian government has initiated the payment of European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) subsidies for the 2026 campaign. Approximately 775 million euros are being distributed among more than 187,600 farmers and ranchers across the eight provinces of Andalusia.

In recent years, the advance payment percentage has been increased to support the sector against rising production costs. For the 2026 campaign, the Junta de Andalucía aims to pay 75% of the total approved aid in the coming weeks.

Distribution by province includes: • Jaén: Over 205.8 million euros for 71,302 beneficiaries. • Sevilla: Over 163 million euros for 24,075 producers. • Córdoba: Approximately 177.2 million euros for 34,746 beneficiaries. • Granada: Over 81.8 million euros for 26,822 beneficiaries. • Cádiz: 57 million euros for 6,213 producers. • Málaga: Approximately 47.8 million euros for 14,813 beneficiaries. • Huelva: Nearly 28 million euros for 5,277 producers. • Almería: Over 14 million euros for 4,375 beneficiaries.

Nearly 37% of the beneficiaries are women, totaling 69,310 individuals.
