Andalusia raises fishery and aquaculture aid to €6.54 million
The Andalusian Council of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development increased the credit line for its aid programme by €1.5 million, bringing the total budget for investments in the marketing and transformation of fishery and aquaculture products to €6.54 million. The allocation is set at €2 million for 2026 and €4.5 million for 2027, with an additional €40 000 earmarked for promotional campaigns run by non‑profit entities. The funding comes from the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA) 2021‑2027 and aims to modernise the Andalusian sector, enhance value‑added processing and improve competitiveness. The increase was made possible by available budgetary resources and does not open a new application deadline; it was published in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Government (BOJA).
