Andalusia demands faster rail and road investment from Spanish government
The regional government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía) attended the Sectorial Transport Conference, an inter‑governmental forum that had not met for four years. Andalusian Transport and Mobility Counselor Mario Muñoz‑Atanet criticised the absence of Transport Minister Óscar Puente and called for a significant increase in state investment in rail infrastructure and quicker execution of strategic projects in the region.
