Andalusia enterprise confidence rises 4% in Q3 2026, outpacing national average
The Andalusian Business Confidence Index (ICEA) increased by 4 percentage points in the third quarter of 2026, surpassing the Spanish average of 3.2 %. The rise reflects businesses’ perception of a favourable environment for investment despite lingering international economic uncertainty, according to Carolina España, vice‑president and minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds of the Junta de Andalucía.
Capital expansions by Andalusian firms jumped 56 % in the first five months of 2026, more than double the national growth rate of 21.8 %. Between January and May, net creation reached 7,832 companies – the highest for the period since 2007 and an 8.4 % year‑on‑year increase. Additionally, 2,058 companies raised capital totalling €1.4098 billion. Industry, transport and hospitality sectors posted the strongest confidence gains, beating national declines of 0.4 % and 1.4 % in other sectors.
