Andalusia Environment and Water Agency launches temporary employment pool

The Environment and Water Agency of Andalusia (Amaya) has announced the creation of a temporary employment pool to address staffing needs arising from vacancies, substitutions, and extraordinary circumstances. Following negotiations with unions, the initiative was published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía on September 7.

The employment pool will be organized by specific roles and provinces, establishing differentiated reserves for various professional profiles across Andalusia's eight provinces. Targeted technical roles include specialists in biodiversity, forestry, civil and hydraulic works, building, mining, and environmental projects, as well as laboratory and occupational risk prevention specialists.

Additionally, the call includes administrative and support profiles such as environmental consultancy, information technology, human resources, legal advisory, and financial management. Other positions include natural resource specialists, forest guards, maintenance personnel, and operators. Applications must be submitted through the Selecciona digital platform within 15 business days starting from September 8.
