Andalusia hosts diverse cultural and heritage events

Andalusia is hosting a diverse series of cultural and heritage events across several municipalities. As part of the European Heritage Days, over 150 cultural activities will take place in more than seventy Andalusian towns during October and November. Notable highlights include guided tours of the Alcazaba in Almería and commemorative exhibitions at the Provincial Historical Archive.

In the province of Cádiz, the Federation of Flamenco Peñas is organizing various performance cycles, including recitals by singer Jesús Castilla and dancer Jesuli Carrillo. Additionally, the Children's Library of l’Alfàs del Pi is hosting a creative collage workshop inspired by the works of Takashi Murakami and Katsushika Hokusai to introduce children to contemporary and Japanese art.

In Puente Genil, academic conferences titled ‘Paths of Religiosity’ will be held on October 23 and 24. These sessions aim to present research findings regarding popular religiosity and Andalusian identity, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that includes history, anthropology, and sociology.
