Andalusia implements web inspections and manages service outages

The Junta de Andalucía has launched an inspection campaign to ensure e-commerce compliance. Running from May through December 2026, the Directorate General for Consumption will conduct 240 inspections of websites to verify that businesses provide mandatory information, such as correct business identification, contact details, pricing, shipping costs, and withdrawal rights. This follows a 2025 campaign where 66.35% of inspected files revealed non-compliance.

Separately, the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE) and the Andalusian Health Service have implemented preventive website closures due to an international PHP vulnerability alert. To assist users during this outage, the administration has provided alternative channels for unemployment benefit renewals, including the AppSAE mobile application, telephone assistance at 955 625 695, and in-person appointments. Labor regulations protect unemployed individuals from sanctions during these verified technical failures, and the administration may perform automatic renewals in cases of mass system suspension.
