Dominican Republic institutions launch new technological training initiatives

Various Dominican institutions are launching new technological training and cooperation initiatives. The Tribunal Superior Electoral (TSE) has signed an agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA) to strengthen cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation within the court, while also providing legal assistance for civil status rectifications to ITLA staff.

Additionally, the Consejo Nacional para la Niñez y la Adolescencia (Conani) has renewed its partnership with ITLA to provide ICT training for minors in state protection, aiming to reduce vulnerability to digital crimes.

In the transport sector, the Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP) has launched a Sustainable Mobility Technical Course. This initiative, coordinated with INTRANT, the Euroclima Program, and the CNCCMC, is designed to develop specialized expertise to address future transportation and mobility challenges in the country.
