Andalusia opens admission for higher artistic studies

The Regional Ministry of Education in Andalusia has announced an extraordinary admission process for 272 spots in higher artistic studies. The available positions are distributed across dramatic arts (57), design (26), and music (189).

Registration for the entrance exams opens on September 16 and remains open until Thursday, September 17. The exams for dramatic arts and music are scheduled for September 29, 30, and October 1, while design exams will take place on September 30. Enrollment for successful candidates will occur between October 19 and October 22.

In the music category, the 189 spots include 133 for performance, 26 for flamenco, 9 for musicology, 8 for sonology, 6 for composition, and 3 for direction. The 57 dramatic arts spots cover 21 in stage direction and dramaturgy, 7 in scenography, and 29 in acting. The 26 design spots are divided into 18 for product design and 8 for graphic design. The call includes specific measures to integrate students with recognized disabilities of 33% or higher, as well as high-level and high-performance athletes.
