Andalusia PP accuses PSOE of long-term regional abandonment

Antonio Repullo, the Secretary General of the Partido Popular (PP) in Andalusia, has accused the PSOE of having abandoned the region for a significant period. During a working meeting in Lucena, Córdoba, with mayors and spokespersons from municipalities with over 20,000 inhabitants, Repullo outlined the party's municipalist strategy.

Repullo emphasized that the PP's approach is centered on listening to citizens and responding to local issues such as housing, mobility, security, commerce, industry, and public services. He stated that the party aims to defend Andalusia through its local town halls, specifically targeting the 2027 municipal elections.

Furthermore, the PP is calling for fair financing for the region, asserting that 'no Andalusian can be worth less than another Spaniard.' Repullo linked the need for adequate resources to the maintenance of essential services, including healthcare, education, and dependency care. He cited the situation in Ceuta and issues with railway infrastructure as evidence of regional neglect.
