Andalusia sets 2027 university entrance exam dates and subject changes

PAU 2027 university entrance exams Andalusia education mathematics weighting higher education policy

The Interuniversity Coordinating Commission of Andalusia has confirmed the schedule for the 2027 university entrance exams (PAU). The ordinary exam session is set for June 1, 2, and 3, 2027, while the extraordinary session will take place from June 29 to July 1.

The 2027 exams will feature significant changes to subject weightings, specifically affecting Mathematics and General Sciences. These adjustments aim to align evaluations with current educational objectives and will impact how students are admitted to various degree programs.

Key modifications include changes to Mathematics weightings for 37 degrees and a reduction in General Sciences weighting for 47 degrees. In specific cases where both Mathematics II and Applied Mathematics to Social Sciences II are weighted at the maximum coefficient of 0.2, only the most favorable grade will be considered for the admission score.
