Several technology initiatives have been launched in Andalusia, Spain, focusing on artificial intelligence and energy sector simulations.

Kanzo Tech and the Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) have introduced the #DatosConSentido challenge. This open innovation call invites organizations to develop three-month pilots using KEASY, a semantic infrastructure platform designed to connect fragmented data sources. The initiative prioritizes the industry, construction, utilities, and regulatory compliance sectors. Applications are open until November 20 via the conneCTA platform.

In Jerez, the firm Valendra has released Sherry 0.1, an experimental open-source AI model featuring 35 billion parameters. Developed by mathematicians and chemists, the model aims to improve reasoning efficiency and resource management. It has been made available on the Hugging Face platform.

Additionally, Orcus Dynamics has introduced Orcus Sim Studio 2 (OSS2) in Málaga. This simulation platform is designed for training professionals in oil and gas drilling, geothermal energy, and geological CO2 storage. The tool allows users to configure operational scenarios and analyze well behavior in a controlled environment.
