Andalusia to host 16 researchers under Marie Skłodowska-Curie program
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program continues to support the professional development and mobility of researchers across Europe. Each year, approximately 17,000 researchers with up to eight years of experience apply for these grants, which fund training and career advancement for scientists of any nationality.
In Spain, 182 research teams are set to host international talent through this initiative. Spain has maintained its position as the EU country with the highest number of host researchers for seven consecutive years. Within Spain, the Andalusia region will host 16 professionals under this current call, ranking it third in terms of funding volume behind Madrid and Catalonia.
The program evaluates both the individual researcher's trajectory and the quality of the host research group to ensure a balance between high-achieving doctors and consolidated academic institutions.
