Andalusia to promote agrifood sector at international trade fairs
The Junta de Andalucía will continue its presence at various agrifood trade fairs during the second half of 2026 through its quality food brand, ‘Gusto del Sur’. Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, stated that these fairs serve as essential showcases to demonstrate the region's capacity for quality, safety, and innovation.
Andalusia is currently Spain's leading agricultural power and a top European producer, with annual production exceeding 16 billion euros. The region is also a major exporter of food and beverages and a key promoter of the Mediterranean diet.
Upcoming participation includes the Auténtica Premium Food fair in Seville on September 14-15, which focuses on premium products for retail and high gastronomy. Following this, the regional government will attend the 18th edition of Fruit Attraction, an international fruit and vegetable trade fair, held from October 6-8.
