Andalusia tourism and commerce entities receive regional awards

Several entities in the Andalusia region of Spain have received recognition for excellence in tourism and commerce.

Priego de Córdoba has been named a finalist for the 2026 Andalusia Tourism Award in the category of Excellence Interior Tourist Destination. The municipality was selected based on its monumental and archaeological heritage, its location within the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, and its urban configuration.

The Association Centro Comercial Abierto de Priego was awarded the Andalusia Interior Commerce Award for business cooperation. This recognition, part of the tenth edition of the awards organized by the Junta de Andalucía, highlights the association's collaborative efforts within the local commercial sector.

Additionally, the Diputación de Córdoba presented the 2026 Tourism Merit Awards to fifteen individuals and organizations. Notable recipients include the Enamoriles Festival (Best Tourist Product), the Holy Week of Baena, and the Hotel Monasterio de San Francisco (Best Accommodation Company). Other winners include Kàran Bistró for restaurant services and Bacus Travel & Tours for tourism services.
