Andalusian cooperatives launch technological surveillance project
Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía has launched the ‘Technological Surveillance in Cooperatives and Agri-food Industries’ project. The initiative aims to help cooperatives make informed investment decisions by analyzing market trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
Funded by the Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment, the project provides individualized technological advice to 24 cooperatives across the eight provinces of Andalusia. Following an initial training phase and individual interviews to diagnose specific needs, the project will produce eight in-depth thematic reports.
Key areas of focus include precision agriculture, smart inventory management, logistics automation, harvest prediction, computer vision for quality control, blockchain-based traceability, and smart packaging.
